NYC - Grand Central Station

New York City's Grand Central Station! I shot this with a slow shutter to help convey the "hustle and bustle" that is common to New York City.

This is fantastic, I love the composition and the muted colours. The shutter speed was spot on and certainly works well.

I agree with tracy... great shot. the longer exposure really makes this shot better than if everything had been sharp. cheers, pete

I have a similar photo.. but this is better... the muted colors work very well and the crowd is just bug enough to convey the right sense of the busy station

This is a great example of creative use of a slow shutter speed, which has resulted in a very animated image. Nicholas has chosen a great viewpoint and I really like the 'desaturated' effect, too.
