We’ve lots of practical advice to show you how we got on following the basic techniques and lots of expert insight to help you improve your images. From babies through to teenagers, we’ve got ideas and inspiration to help you capture magical moments of the kids that you can proudly share with your family and friends. Main Digital SLR Test: Nikon D700
Nikon's FX-format 'full-frame DSLR put to the test.
Digital Convert: Joey Lawrence
‘Joey L’ is one of the most exciting photographers on the pro scene. His travel photography has drawn critical acclaim from all over the world, and he has made a name for himself as a brilliant commercial photographer, with a unique talent for lighting and post-processing. Incredibly, he’s still only 18. Matt Henry talks shop with the Canadian wunderkind.
Pro 'Budget' Challenge
Last month we saw our contributors achieve stunning results with entry-level DSLRs and standard kit zooms. In this second challenge, we test our pros with an ultra wide-angle zoom. Still using a budget DSLR and a choice of one of two low-cost accessories, this month’s three challengees must use the lenses to their full potential. They certainly have their work cut out, but we’re confident that, even without their usual assortment of professional gear, they can deliver the goods.
Photo Adventures: Iron Maiden World Tour
Matt Henry talks to John McMurtrie, Iron Maiden’s official photographer and regular Digital SLR Photography contributor, about the thrills and spills of shooting the most spectacular and ambitious tour of all time.
