Designed for those who travel light, the National Geographic Walkabout features enough room for one medium-size DSLR with lens attached. Entry-level DSLR or Compact System Camera owners might just squeeze in an extra lens or flashgun, but it’s tight, and although two dividers are supplied the space limits you to the 'holster' layout. The finish is good though, thanks to the use of quality material and leather giving the bag a refined feel, while a reasonable amount of padding protects the contents, too.

There’s also an adjustable shoulder strap for carrying the bag over the shoulder, or across the body, but disappointingly the strap isn’t padded or non-slip. The Walkabout is also short of pockets, with just one zip pocket at the front, and once you’ve stuffed the rain cover into it there’s isn’t much room for anything other than a few small items.

Verdict
Boasts a quality build and finish but space is limited, and without a padded strap expect a sore shoulder after your day out walking.
