Kata’s range of products has
received mixed reviews but
we’ve noticed that the bags from this innovative brand has steadily improved. The Bumblebee DL-210 is one of its newest backpacks and is without a doubt one of its best designs to date. It looks very sleek and considering its size is very lightweight at
just over a kilo. As with other daypacks, there is an upper main compartment for general items, which is deep and spacious;
with a smaller outer pocket allowing for items like a mobile or memory cards to be easily stored for fast access. The lower
gear compartment has room for a DSLR, three lenses and a couple of other items too, but the padding of the dividers and
the outer base are not as thick as we’d like. On the rear is a large laptop compartment and the exterior also boasts a number of pockets, a rain cover, a trolley harness and tripod straps.
VERDICT:
A nice bag but it’s pricey compared to rivals and the padding used to protect your camera
gear could be better.
