Why is it that my heart leaves me hanging by a thread; usually a precarious one.
Little Ted has been hanging here for years. My daughter simply refuses to move him. The light is not even plugged in. Yet, the more I stared across my landing into her old playroom, an analogy of my past romantic failures crept into my head, and rooted itself. I just felt that this was the way some of us see our lives, post romance, before the wounds begin to heal, and we go looking for stronger string to bind our hearts back together. Ramble over..... lol.
