Kenko-Tokina's variable NDX ND filter launched
Kenko-Tokina has launched a variable ND filter that can be adjusted from ND2.5 to ND1000
Kenko-Tokina has launched the NDX ND filter, offering ranges from ND2.5 to ND1000.
The NDX follows the same principle as a standard ND filter, but offers variable strength by essentially stacking two filters together.
The Kenko-Tokina NDX filter was announced in September last year and will be stocked in Japan from August 26.
According to Kenko-Tokina, using the NDX range won't affect colour balance, glare, or reflections in photos.
The 77S fits a 72mm filter thread, and is priced at ¥55,000 (around £435), while the NDX 82S, for an 82mm filter thread will cost ¥65,000 (around £515).
Earlier this year, Kenko-Tokina bought rival filter manufacturer Cokin.
