Sigma SD1 gets firmware update

The Sigma SD1 has been updated to firmware version 1.02.

Although there's not much to report in the update, it does correct a few bugs.

The update also corrects 'the phenomenon of camera freeze when in Custom White Balance Mode.' and provides 'Improved image quality at high sensitivity (ISO3200, ISO6400) only for RAW file.'

To check whether the update is available for your Sigma SD1, follow these instructions:

• Turn on your camera
• Press the menu button to display the set up menu
• Select firmware update and you can check which version you're running. Sigma says if your camera is curently running version 1.01, it is necessary to update your Sigma SD1 to the latest firmware version.
