Fujifilm announces mirrorless camer system in development
Fujifilm President and Chief Executive Officer told a press conference the company is working on a mirror-less camera system
Fujifilm's President and Chief Executive Officer told a Japanese press conference the company would launch a mirror-less camera in 2012.
Shigetaka Komori said, "Fujifilm will launch in spring 2012, a mirror-less system camera with interchangeable lenses. The clear objective in the development of lenses, sensor and processor technology to achieve the highest image quality."
The camera will feature a "resolution and low noise [that] will surpass the 35mm full size sensor."
Komori announced the new information while launching the company's X-S1 high-end super-zoom camera in Japan.
