Lindy has launched the USB 3.0 Multi-card reader, suitable for use with fast memory cards such as SDXC and CF UDMA

LINDY Electronics announced today a USB 3.0 Multi-Card Reader that provides SuperSpeed access to a range of memory cards. Transferring images, downloading video couldn't be easier, simply connect the reader to a computer's USB 3.0 port and move files at rates of up to 5Gbps.

A stylish white and grey design with five different slots, the LINDY USB 3.0 Multi-Card Reader can access the most popular, latest memory cards on the market, including fast memory cards such as SDXC and CF UDMA at the highest capacities. Older favourites such as Compact Flash, SD and Mini SD are also supported.

"With even compact cameras now having up to twelve megapixel resolution, file sizes are increasing constantly and so is the time taken to transfer them to a computer," says Andrew Ingram, Product Manager of LINDY Electronics. Backward compatible with USB 2.0/1.1 the card reader includes a 1m USB 3.0 cable.
