theprintspace Presents the Best of Music Photography

theprintspace and Nikon has launched the Best of Music Photography exhibition with music magazine NME

 

UK Professional photographic printing lab, theprintspace is proud to present the NME Music Photography Awards Exhibition, hosted by internationally recognised music brand NME together with camera manufacturer Nikon.

The NME Music Awards Exhibition will feature fantastic music photography from both amateur and professional photographers who won the 2011 competition. Photographers competed in categories including Live, Portrait, Reportage, Festivals, and Under-18s.

Rob Hunt, head of Creative Media at IPC Men & Music, says: "This is the second year we've run this competition and it gives both amateur and professional photographers a chance to get their work seen by some of the biggest names in music photography. The exhibition is a great way to end the campaign."

Marian Paterson, photo director for NME, and famous music photographer Andy Willsher, judged the entries which were first rated by the NME.com users. Prizes for the winners of the professional photographer of the year, the amateur categories, and the outstanding Contribution Award will be presented at the opening night party.

The exhibition will run from Friday 6th January until Wednesday 11th January, at theprintspace gallery on 74 Kingsland Road. The opening night will be on Thursday 5th January from 7pm-9.30pm and refreshments will be provided! Admission is free.
