Bill D'Arcy from Birmingham scoops a Nikon D300 outfit in our exclusive competition
Earlier this year, we launched a competition to win a Nikon D300 outfit in association with Nikon. We are very pleased to announce the winner as Bill D’Arcy from Birmingham. Bill, who is a keen camera club member was thrilled with his prize. “When I entered the competition to win a Nikon D300 kit, I had just come out of hospital after a serious illness, and was looking for something to cheer me up. When I was told that I had won the competition, I was absolutely delighted, and thrilled at the prospect of using the Nikon D300. I’ve found the camera is easy to use and produces excellent results. Its flexibility means it’s easy to adjust the camera to suit the subject, reducing the amount of time spent at the computer in post-production. The results from my first outing with the camera were very impressive, and I found the settings intuitive and easy to use. I find the new Live View feature to be extremely useful, especially for close-ups, as it enables me to accurately frame and focus on the subject. I’m absolutely delighted to have won the Nikon D300 camera in your competition, and I am looking forward to many more opportunities to use the camera.
