Marsel Van Oosten, renowned wildlife photographer and Digital SLR Photography contributor has won first place in the Calendar category of the International Photography Awards (Professional Category). One of our readers, Marcin Stawiarz (showcased in the October 2008 edition) also won in the amateur category, coming top of the Architecture category. Many congratulations to them both! Dutch nature photographer Marsel van Oosten was awarded 1st place in the professional category for his calendar "Africa". The 2008 International Photography Awards has received over 22,000 submissions from 124 countries across the globe.
