New Hama camera bags

Digital Photography accessory firm Hama has announced the release of two new camera bags from their Rexton series. There’s be a full review in a forthcoming issue of Digital SLR Photography, but until then, here’s the official lowdown on the new gear with pricing information to follow.

Base with robust rubber lining

The hard-wearing rubber lining prevents dirt or moisture from permeating the Rexton outdoor camera bag and the material is easy to clean, so you don't have to worry about the condition of the ground where you set your bag.

Moisture-proof, rubberised zips on the lid and front compartment

Many camera bags are made of waterproof material, yet humidity is still able to enter through the zips. With Rexton camera bags, however, the lid and front compartment are equipped with moisture-proof zips that come complete with rubber inlays.

Additional stable insert

Inside a Rexton bag, your sensitive camera equipment does not sit directly on the floor of the bag; an additional stable insert affords your equipment optimum protection.

Integrated rain cover

The integrated rain cover means that your camera equipment is protected from dampness and moisture at all times, even in bad weather. Even if you are shooting in the rain, you still have full access to all compartments and pockets. After the rain has cleared, the rain cover fits snugly back into its specially designed pocket.

Super-soft handle

Extra padding on the handle allows you to carry your equipment outdoors for extended periods of time without hurting your fingers.

Sturdy shoulder strap with extra-soft shoulder pad

The shoulder strap is particularly handy if you are travelling on rugged terrain. Soft padding helps to protect your shoulders and the strap is easily detachable when you no longer need it.

Integrated tripod holders

Integrated tripod holders allow you to take your tripod with you wherever you go without needing an additional bag, saving on valuable space and weight. The holders can be comfortably stowed under the side pockets when they are not in use.
