Join pro snapper Brett for two days of shooting in the woods

Top portrait photographer and regular Digital SLR Photography contributor Brett Harkness will be hosting a two-day (one night) training course on 14 & 15 June.
Places cost £625 plus VAT and includes tuition, accommodation in luxury tents and meals.

What does the course consist of?
Day1: The afternoon session will start off in the amazing woods with our models, using natural light & flash, looking at posing, composition,
creating a story, how to recognize good & bad light!
Night Shoot: After dinner we will head off into the surrounding woods for our first ever night shoot! You will produce some amazing & beautifully lit shots! Using Pocket Wizards & a mixture of
Elinchrom lights/Ezy boxes and flash guns we will spice things up. Learning how to light on location & produce striking imagery for your
portfolios.
Day2: After breakfast we will be focussing on photographing kids. What better place to shoot kids than in the campsite & surrounding forest?
How to get the most from your subject. Looking at light, backgrounds, communication, method, creating engaging photographs of the kids and so much more. This course will take your photography to
the next level.
Is this course for me?
This course is open to anyone that wants to broaden their horizons, get
out there, learn the best & latest techniques, produce beautiful imagery in an amazing location and if that’s not enough spend time with one of the countries most sought after photographers and chat about your own business.
Also spend time with like minded photographers, chill out with a glass of wine by the camp fire and relive the days shoot. Get away from the studio for a couple of days.
The course will be held at a secret Luxury camping site outside of York on June 14th & 15th 2010.
•The course will start from 12pm, monday & finish roughly around 4.30pm, Tuesday. Including an evening shoot.
•1 1/2 hours from Manchester. 20 mins from York city centre and the
nearest train station.
•We can arrange for you to be picked up at the Train Station in York on
the Monday morning if times are suitable.
•There is on site parking at the camp site
