
London Street Photography Festival announced
Festival to run 7-17 July, 2011
Press release:
World-class photography and a diverse programme of interactive events at central London venues including the National Portrait Gallery, the British Library, the German Gymnasium and St Pancras International.
The full progamme will be published in spring 2011.
To kick start the festival we are launching the first Street Photography Awards giving street photographers the opportunity to submit their work to the festival.

Street photography on our radar:
1. We are running our very own Street Photography Workshops in east London in March 2011. Book now!
2. Street Photography Now, our new favourite book and an interactive project in association with the Photographers' Gallery. Curently exhibiting in Cologne, Germany at Lichtblick.
3. Format International Photography Festival, Derby, 4 March - 3 April 2011. This year the festival's theme Right Here, Right Now: Exposures from the public realm is inspired by street photography.
4. The Museum of London is hosting a street photography exhibition from 18 Feb - 4 Sep 2011.
5. In-Public turned 10 years old in 2010 and have published a book with contributions from all 20 street photographers in their global collective.
6. The spring edition of fLIP Magazine (for London Independent Photography) has STREET LIFE as its theme - deadline for submissions for inclusion is 16th January.
