Adam Duckworth -
Adam Duckworth’s work varies from portrait and wedding to commercial work but it’s for his magazine editorial photography that he is known best. He uses the latest techniques in flash photography to give his modern, colourful images a dramatic edge. Adam is well versed in shooting portraits at speed, on location and in the studio.
His trademark is bold colours, thanks to multiple, remotely-controlled flash units. These ‘Strobist’ techniques are what he’ll be demonstrating in his demo, “Small Light, Big Results: Creative Results with Off Camera Flash”. His second demo is a progression of this theme, “Step Up From Speedlights: Pro Results from the Ranger Quadra” Adam will demonstrate how he creates his fantastic images for his clients  which include FHM, Bike, MOTO, Motorcycle News, EVO and Max Power to name but a few.

Jim Marks -
Jim Marks.  Over the last 20 years, Jim has discovered his forte - shooting people and working with all kinds of characters from
celebrities to top business CEO’s. Now he has a wide variety of clients including Channel 4, Nike, & M&C Saatchi. The passion and enthusiasm he has for taking pictures shows in his work and he regularly shoots “A” list celebrities under pressure.
This year Jim’s talks are entitled “HD or not to be” showing us  some of his recent work and his use of HD Video, how this can generate new business for photographers and a very exciting live demo with the equipment he uses. “In ‘n’ out in 30 min” is Jim’s second talk and gives us a live demonstration of Jims quick shooting techniques and his super portable equipment, the clock’s ticking.....

Bjorn Thomassen -
Bjorn Thomassen’s photographic career spans many diciplines, but his real passion is people photography. He is an accomplished photographer who continues to attain many prestigious qualifications and awards. Bjorn has also become respected and sought after as a speaker and photographic judge. This Focus Bjorn will be speaking about the “Best use of light and space in environmental Portraiture”, showing how exciting and challenging this subject can be and  adding another dimension to your photography. Also an expert in weddings, his “Weddings, your success guaranteed” will share his best hints and tips.
