David Honl to speak at Focus Show

If you’re attending the Focus On Imaging Show at Birmingham NEC on Monday, 7 March, make sure you head over to The Flash Centre’s stand at 13:30.

Big name photojournalist and the man behind Honl lighting accessories, David Honl, will be speaking and offer his opinions.
David Honl's images have appeared in such publications as Newsweek, People Magazine, New York Times, Professional Photographer, and countless more. A self described, "photographer at heart, " he is tireless in his photographic efforts, with a body of work that spans the globe. Recently he returned from Iraq, where he was on assignment for Newsweek, documenting the everyday life and specifically the everyday workout of the American soldier under extreme conditions.
David is the originator & designer of the world-renowned line of HonlPhoto speedlite accessories. During more than two decades of work around the world, David has learned how to travel fast and light, all the while being able to create beautiful light under extreme circumstances.
While traveling regularly on assignment in countries like Turkey, Iraq, Jordan, and Kazakhstan, David continues to design and field-test his Honl Photo line of lightweight and innovative light modifiers for speedlights.

If you’re attending on Sunday 6 March, look out for Eddie Macdonald at The Flash Centre stand at 13:30. Eddie has shot commercial work for Avon, T-Mobile, Asics and Playboy to name but a few. He currently specialises in sportswear clothing, advertising, fashion, movement and portraiture.
