INTERNATIONAL GARDEN PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR ANNOUNCES NEW PARTNERSHIP WITH THE NEW YORK BOTANICAL GARDEN

The New York Botanical Garden is proud to participate as the exclusive
United States partner in the International Garden Photographer of the Year 
(IGPOTY) contest. 
Celebrating its 120th anniversary in 2011, the Botanical
Garden is an internationally renowned museum of plants, a place to reconnect
with nature through world-class exhibitions, innovative educational
programs, and beautiful landscapes.

New IGPOTY Award for Best Photograph of New York Botanical Garden
 This year, IGPOTY will be offering a
special commendation for pictures photographed at The New York Botanical
Garden. The winner of that category will also receive a free one-year
membership to the Garden. The New York Botanical Garden is a beautiful place to visit and photograph year-round -- each season brings new discoveries: spring flowering, summer respite, autumn color, winter walks.   For more information, visit www.nybg.org
