Warehouse Express proudly announces the launch of The Beginners Guide to Wedding Photography Webinar Series, brought to you by award-winning wedding photographer Uzair (Oz) Kharawala from SF Digital Photography/SF Photo School.
Following on from the highly successful Warehouse Express Seminars and Workshops this guide to ‘shooting-the-big-day-the-professional-way’ is set to be the most all-encompassing tuition that every aspiring professional photographer could want. But that’s not all, a major feature of the Webinar is to help photographers take their first steps into creating and enjoying a professional business. Oz will provide the expertise to help cultivate your talent plus give his business know-how and tips to ensure photo-shoots are stress free.

Broken down into 6 interactive sessions, Oz will guide you through his wealth of knowledge and will answer questions in real-time where time permits. Each session will cover a major topic in setting up your new business and will even look at how to brand and market yourself to potential clients. It’s a course that you really don’t want to miss!

Session-by-session synopsis
Part 1:  The Business
Date:  21st June
Time: 6pm-7pm 
Getting the basics and foundation right is critical for the success of any business. You’ll learn how to assist other pro photographers, get your portfolio ready, setting up your contracts, legal documents, price lists and products, equipment, camera, lenses, software. You’ll also see and learn how to handle enquiries, sending quotations, bookings, sales and purchases, how to create a workflow so you will never forget your tasks and much, much more.

Part 2:  Branding, Advertising & Marketing
Date:  23rd June 2011
Time:  6pm-7pm
You’ll learn how to ‘brand’ yourself and your company, why branding is so important, how to advertise your business through magazines, bridal fairs, online and Google. You’ll also learn some very handy tips and tricks on how to turbo charge your website and blog so you get indexed in search results above your competitors for free traffic.

Part 3:  Story Telling Part I
Date:  26th June 2011
Time:  6pm-7pm
You need to document a complete and beautiful story of someone’s best day of their lives. It is a
challenge to capture those important moments each and every time without having to be lucky! You’ll learn Oz’s shooting process as to how effortlessly you’ll shoot a wedding from start to finish to capture those magical moments for your clients.
 
Part 4:  Story Telling Part II
Date:  27th June 2011
Time:  6pm-7pm
You’ll see how to shoot a wedding right from the bridal preparations up to the first dance, getting the ‘safe’ shots in the bag first and also creating some masterpieces along the way.

Part 5:  Off-Camera Flash
Date:  28th June 2011
Time:  6pm-7pm
A flashgun is one of the most creative tools in your kit bag, use it right and you’ll achieve results like you’ve never achieved before. Oz is truly a master at off-camera flash. He’ll share with you all his secrets on how to set up and shoot incredible images that have the ‘wow’ factor. You will truly be inspired to get started on off-camera flash.

Part 6:  Editing, Post-Processing & Workflow
Date:  3rd July 2011
Time:  6pm-7pm
A lot of photographers waste too much time in front of the computer. There is a very fine line between making a profit or a loss. You’ll learn some very simple editing, post-processing workflow tips and tricks which will save your hours and money!
