From 400 to 8.2 w/s with power controlled in digital 1/10ths stop, the Ranger Quadra RX synchronises with pre-flash sequences to add real oomph and control to an existing Speedlight system, as the built in Skyport RX radio remote and trigger also enables it to be completely integrated with existing studio lights, particularly the Elinchrom D-Lite IT, BXRi and RX ranges. The built in 50w Tungsten equivalent LED modelling lamp is daylight balanced and will run continuously for over two hours on the built in battery which can be easily swopped for a fresh spare, and Stills with flash can even be taken whilst shooting Video. Used both in the studio and out, the complete unit with head weighs just 3 kilos, and the ultra compact head which weighs just 250g can be placed into places that were previously impassible, for many unique effects. The very short flash durations support many Sport and Fashion applications and it’s available for Rental and Try Before you Buy, with kit purchase prices from less than £1,100 inc vat.
